Position Summary:
The Certified Nursing Assistant plays a vital role in providing exceptional care and service to our residents. We're seeking devoted and caring Certified Nursing Assistants to become part of our family.
We're currently hiring Full Time Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) for 7am-3pm shifts at our Maplewood at Orange location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily care needs, including bathing, dressing, continence care, dining, and mobility support
- Engage residents through interaction, conversation, programs, and activities
- Work collaboratively with the nursing team to ensure resident care needs are met
- Maintain a clean, safe, and tidy work environment, and assist residents with maintaining their rooms
Education/Experience/Licensure/Certification:
- Current Connecticut Nurse's Aide Registration
- Experience working with seniors, preferably in a caregiving role
- Able to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting up to 50 lbs
- Ability to maintain positive relationships with residents, families, peers, and other staff members
- In good physical and emotional health, free of communicable diseases
