Job Description
The Certified Nursing Assistant will play an integral role in providing exceptional care and service to our residents in need of dedicated hands-on assistance. This includes assisting residents with daily care needs, engaging residents through interaction and conversation, and participating in programs and activities.
Responsibilities
* Assist residents with daily care needs
* Engage residents through interaction and conversation
* Participate in programs and activities
* Work collaboratively with the nursing team to ensure resident care needs are met
* Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe work environment
Requirements
* Current Connecticut Nurse's Aide Registration
* Experience working with seniors
* Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as pushing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to maintain positive working relationships with residents, their families, peers, and other staff members
