We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team as a Senior Care Specialist. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality care to our residents, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct care and service to residents, including administering medication and providing assistance with daily activities
- Health Promotion: Support residents in maintaining their physical and mental health through education and guidance
- Participation in assessments under the supervision of the Resident Services Director (RN)
- Oversight of Certified Nursing Assistants, ensuring they provide exceptional care to our residents
- Training of associates on care standards and auditing of resident care plans
Requirements
- Two years of full-time or equivalent clinical experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Experience working with older adults, preferably in a senior living setting
- Able to maintain positive working relationships with residents, families, peers, and other staff members
- In good physical and emotional health, free from communicable diseases
