Maplewood of Cheshire County is looking for help in our Environmental Services Department. We will train.
Full Time positions: 40 hours a week, rotating weekend schedule
Shift schedules could include: 6:30am - 2:30pm, 7:00am - 3:00pm, 7:30am - 3:30pm OR 3:00pm - 11:00pm
The Housekeeping Aide works independently and performs a wide range of cleaning duties in all areas of the Nursing Home. They use specialized equipment and chemicals in order to maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, staff and the public.
Specific duties include the following:
-Cleans all resident rooms and corridors on a daily basis.
-Vacuums carpeting and rugs: dry and wet mops floors.
-Washes windows.
-Cleans/dusts walls, windows, doors, ceilings, fixtures, stairways, elevators, entrances, and exits. Spot cleans between washings.
-Cleans bathrooms: cleans and disinfects all fixtures, floors and walls. Replenishes bathroom supplies.
-Cleans and rehangs curtains and draperies.
-Empties trash when needed.
