In collaboration with the Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of the Mid-Atlantic States, we provide high-quality, patient-centered health care. MAPMG physicians work without the pressures of alternative payment models or fee-for-services. Our members have easy access to specialists and medical records, thus allowing you to treat the whole patient.
What You Can Expect:
- Non-Traditional outpatient urgent/ emergent medicine Opportunities
- Direct patient care from our Emergency and Family Medicine Physicians
- Observation Units staffed by our hospitalist teams
- Differential pay for physicians working all nights or all weekends
- Collaborative mixed-specialty department, comprised of emergency medicine, family medicine, and hospitalist physicians working together and learning from each other
- 8-10 hour shifts
- Advanced Urgent Care or Urgent Care settings
- Limited overnight coverage
- No Behavioral Health Observation
- Work every other weekend and split coverage for holidays
Minimum Requirements:
- MD or DO
- Board Certified or Eligible in Family Medicine
- Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia

The starting hourly rate for this position is $175.00 per hour which considers an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, training, market data, and other relevant factors.
