Special Education Van Driver
2024-2025 School Year
Qualifications:
- Class 'D' Chauffeur's License or must obtain one before 1st day
- Successful interview
- DOT Physical
- Pre-employment Drug Testing and Background Check Required
- Completion of a 17 hour Stop Course within 6 months of starting
Responsibilities:
- Work under supervision of the Director of Transportation
- Transport students to and from school buildings
- Maintain the schedule coordinating with parents and teachers on times and pick up locations
- To perform all duties of basic job description and all duties of specific job description for areas.
Compensation:
- Per 2024/25 settlement conditions
- Based on daily student attendance
- Approximately 2 hours in the AM, Midday and PM
- Benefit package includes health, LTD and life insurance policy
- This is an IPERS position
