What You’ll Do:
- Perform Vehicle Inspections: Examine vehicles for compliance with Virginia state safety standards, including brake systems, lights, tires, emissions, and other essential components.
- Document Findings: Record inspection results accurately and provide clear reports on vehicle conditions.
- Provide Guidance: Communicate inspection results to customers and explain necessary repairs or re-inspections.
- Ensure Safety Compliance: Maintain knowledge of and adhere to state and federal safety regulations to ensure that all vehicles meet legal standards.
- Collaborate with Team: Work alongside a dedicated team of professionals to ensure smooth operations and high-quality service.
What We’re Looking For:
- VA Vehicle Inspector Certification: Current certification as a Vehicle State Inspector in Virginia is required.
- Attention to Detail: You must have a sharp eye for identifying potential issues with vehicles, ensuring everything meets state standards.
- Communication Skills: The ability to effectively communicate inspection results to customers in a clear, professional manner.
- Mechanical Knowledge: Familiarity with vehicle systems and a strong understanding of safety standards.
- Team Player: While you’ll often work independently, collaborating with your team is key to providing the best service to our customers.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in vehicle inspection or automotive repair is a plus.
