Marabu North America is a subsidiary of German based Marabu GmbH & Co KG, a 155 year old manufacturer of specialty printing inks and coatings. We are seeking Manufacturing Associates to meet our growing volume demands in the US. We are conveniently located in North Charleston, offer fantastic benefits and a great company culture.
Manufacturing Associate Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain manufacturing, filling and labeling equipment with consistent speed and accuracy.
- Follow all safety and security protocols.
- Maintain good housekeeping practices.
- Follow all work instructions and batch procedures.
- Monday – Friday.
Production Associate Requirements and Qualifications:
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Capable of safely handling chemicals and wear all required safety equipment and protective clothing as required by law and/or company policy. This includes, but is not limited to, safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, respirators and gloves.
- Be able to read and understand written instructions for making batches of products, safety data sheets and other pertinent information necessary to perform assigned job functions.
- Physically capable of manual labor that includes frequent standing, lifting, bending, squatting and reaching.
- Able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
