Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled Production Assistant to join our team at Marathon Cheese Corporation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate state-of-the-art production line equipment to wrap and package cheese products.
- Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices, SQF, and established safety rules and regulations.
- Weigh product for packaging and set up scales as needed.
- Pack cheese products into boxes, stack boxes on pallets, and inspect packages and boxes for good seals and code dates.
- Understand and utilize box erecting, case sealing, and labeling equipment.
- Perform sanitation of the work area and equipment as required.
Requirements:
- Able to read and write English and perform basic math calculations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Maintain a professional image with customers, peers, supervisors, and the public.
- Good organizational skills.
