This position is responsible for providing general support to all HR team members, specific duties are varied. Assist HR with recruitment, record documentation, benefits & payroll, learning and development and safety. Provide clerical support to all employees while working on internal events and internal company wide communications.

Job Responsibilities
- Courteously interact with all departments, employees and general public
- Interpret company policies for employees and employee-centered situations
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with complete discretion, including (but not limited to) personnel, medical and Workers’ Compensation documents
- Issue and record employee performance reviews, record disciplinary and attendance documentation
- Point of contact for communication and correspondence with uniform company
- Communicate and track employee uniform concerns
- Review and verify weekly invoicing
- Point of contact for communication and correspondence with vending company
- Communicate and track employee vending concerns
- Review and verify invoicing
- Maintain inventory of soda for events and Saturday work
- Coordinate monthly employee appreciation events
- Process onboarding paperwork for new hires and rehires and track new employee reviews
- Process wage, position and shift changes for employees
- Confirm unemployment claims and wages
- Order flowers and cheese trays for applicable funeral requests
- Assist with other jobs and duties as necessary.
- High School Diploma or equivalent, Associates Degree preferred
- 1-3 years of relatable experience in Human Resources manufacturing or related field preferred
- Ability to work well with and contribute as part of a team
- Maintain confidentiality at all times
- Strong attention to detail with effective critical thinking skills
- Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills
- Strong problem solving ability to make logical and well thought out decision
