POSITION SUMMARY :
Marathon Cheese is looking to hire a fulltime System Administrator to work in our Marathon, WI corporate office. This position reports to the Sr. Systems Engineer and will assist with the implementation and maintenance of software, server hardware, storage, cloud services, and systems infrastructure. Specific duties may include, but are not limited to :
Responsibilities :
- Microsoft Exchange administration
- Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops administration including performance monitoring and application provisioning
- VMWare VSphere / ESXi, administration
- Active Directory duties including adding / removing computers from the domain, user account administration
- Group Policy administration and troubleshooting
- Windows Server 2019-2025 administration
- Server hardware maintenance (ex. Firmware updates)
- Collaborate with other IT service teams - Networking, Desktop, Applications, and Security to assist in solving service problems
- Assist Sr. Technician with advanced desktop hardware and software provisioning
- Assist in DR testing
- Monitoring and responding to issues reported to Help Desk
- Minimum of three (3) years of Active Directory and DNS experience
- Minimum of three (3) years of Microsoft Exchange and Office 365 related experience
- Minimum of three (3) years of VMWare VSphere / ESXi experience
- Citrix experience preferred
- Participation in the development, implementation, and adherence to Technical Services documentation, system standards, policies and procedures
- Experience with Windows Workstation and Server Operating Systems Security Compliance
- Proven record implementing and maintaining stringent security concepts
- Knowledgeable of hardware and software troubleshooting methods
- Ability to work independently, as well as working within a team
- Willing to be on call (rotation) and work limited weekends
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Limited travel is require, less than 10%
- Good understanding of networking concepts, packet switching, routing, VLANS, etc.is a plus
- Bachelor's Degree is desired
