Mechanical Drafter

Marathon Coach Inc. is looking for a full time, qualified Mechanical Drafter - Entry Level for our Coburg location.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Compiles information for proposed drawings, checking dimensions of parts, materials to be used, relation of one part to another, and relation of various parts to whole structure or project.
• Utilizes knowledge of manufacturing processes, engineering practices and standards, mathematics, materials, and other physical sciences to produce drawings of parts and assemblies for use by production personnel and vendors.
• Produces supporting documentation as required, including part master entries, bills of material, specifications, and change control documents.
• Provides technical support to internal customers.
• Assists with materials and methods research.
• Uses computer-aided design (CAD) software.

Minimum 2 years drafting experience preferred. Minimum 2 years Inventor 3D CAD software experience. 2-year associate degree in drafting or related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be familiar with standard drafting practices, including ANSI Y14.5. Experience with Autodesk, AutoCAD and Inventor required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
