Position Summary:
Are you passionate about transforming data into actionable information? Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced IT environment? Marathon Electric is seeking a highly motivated, innovative Business Intelligence Analyst to provide onsite technical support and assist with data and business intelligence projects. Under the general direction of the Business Intelligence Manager, this position will provide analysis, development and support for user requests for information from critical business systems. This position will have access across all levels of the organization and must engage their counterparts in the business and love problem solving with data.
Major Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions, including dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using tools such as: Power BI, Oracle BI, and Alteryx.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into data warehouses or data marts for repeatable use.

Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.

Develop and optimize SQL queries and scripts for data extraction and analysis.

Review outputs and ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security.

Provide training and support to end-users on BI tools and solutions.

Identify continuous improvement opportunities and automate tasks to create efficiencies.

Stay updated with the latest BI technologies and industry trends.
Required Education / Experience / Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Proven experience as a BI Analyst, BI Developer, or similar role.

Proficiency with BI tools such as Excel, Tableau, Power BI or Oracle BI.

Strong SQL skills and experience with data modeling and database design.

Understanding of ETL processes and tools.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desired Qualifications:

Certification in BI tools or data analytics.
