Production Supervisor

The Production Supervisor will oversee and manage production shift employees and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and quantity standards.

Responsibilities

• Hires, onboards, trains, and manages production employees on the assigned shift.

• Oversees the daily workflow and assignments of the production shift.

• Provides constructive and timely performance evaluation and feedback.

• Coordinates production schedules.

• Develops training plans to meet safety, regulatory and production requirements.

• Leads and participates on cross functional quality improvement teams.

• Communicates standard operating procedures and plant rules to all production team members ensuring that they are implemented and strictly adhered to.

• Maintains a safe and clean working environment for all plant employees and visitors.

• Ensures all safety rules are followed.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production operations and machinery.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Computers and related software to complete reports and logs.

Education and Experience:

• Associates degree OR equivalent education or experience.

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Prior exceptional work experience with the company preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• 40-50 hours a week depending on production demands.

• Must be able to traverse the production facility.
