Description
Local Electrical Contractor is looking for Journey level Service technician electricians for the Birmingham, AL area. These are long term positions. If you are looking for more than just a job, give us a call. Must be dependable, have good work history, and be able to pass a drug test, must have clean driving record and pass a background check.
Pay depends on experience. Benefits are available after 90 days. Ideal candidate will have a minimum of six years of electrical/construction work experience.
Job Requirements:
- This position is responsible for repairs, installation of the electrical systems
- Trouble shoot electrical components and systems
- Repair and install lighting and power distribution systems
- Perform new construction and renovations
- Perform electrical safety practices
- Ensure work is done in accordance with the National Electrical Code and in a professional manner
- Perform other duties as may be required by supervisor
- Ability to perform all tasks of the electrical craft
- Ability to interpret and work from construction drawings
- Ability to withstand exposure to constant or intermittent high noise levels
- This position is required to work in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments
