Position Overview:
Marathon Medical Corporation, a leading medical product distribution company, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Business Operations. The individual will be responsible for overseeing the seamless execution of tasks and managing staff.
Formulate and recommend policies and programs which guide the company in maintaining and improving its competitive position and the profitability of the operation.
Direct activities so that approved deliverables are completed on schedule and within quality standards and cost objectives.
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess strong leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple teams, ensuring all staff are well-supported and that team goals are met.
- Develop, implement, and optimize business processes to improve productivity and organizational efficiency.
- Ensure that all company tasks and projects are executed on time, within scope, and with exceptional quality.
- Collaborate with leadership to align operations with the strategic goals of the company.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze operational data to identify areas of improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Oversee vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and service agreements to ensure optimal operational performance
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 7 years of experience in business operations management, with a focus on staff management and operational execution.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively.
- Proven experience in process improvement, task execution, and project management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in business operations software and tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in the healthcare or medical distribution industry.
- Knowledge of supply chain management in a medical environment.
- Experience working with Veteran's Hospital administration or similar entities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
