Job Summary
Marathon Moving Services is seeking a Driver / Mover to join our team! As a Driver / Mover, you will be traveling to a different location each day, ensuring boxes and furniture are properly wrapped, and loading everything specified into a 26ft box truck. You will also be responsible for securing the load properly to ensure nothing is damaged or destroyed, unloading the items at the destination, and providing excellent customer service to our clients. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in all weather conditions, has strong customer service and communication skills, and can comfortably work on their feet lifting heavy objects. Experience is preffered! Movers start at $18hr and Drivers start at $20hr with performance based pay increases.
Responsibilities
Travel to each location and ensure all boxes are properly packed, and all furniture is ready to move safely
Load everything into the truck or vehicle with the team, taking care to make sure everything is well organized and the load is properly distributed
Secure all boxes, furniture, and equipment before moving
Unload all boxes, furniture, and equipment, placing them in the designated rooms as noted by the owners
Maintain a safe, clean work environment
Qualifications
Strong communication and customer service skills
Works well in a team environment
Can comfortably work in all weather conditions
Can lift and move heavy objects
Can work on your feet for much of the day
