What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mosquito / Pest Control Technician position at Marathon Pest Control, LLC?
Growing pest control seeking a fulltime employee for an entry level position which involves various responsibilities. Candidate must be willing to perform non-pest control work during off-season and as needed by the company. Candidate will work a blended schedule the first 30 to 90 days while training to obtain apprentice license.
Schedule will initially be 4 day shift during the week and 1 to 2 night shifts.
During busy season schedule will be Monday through Friday with Saturdays two to three times a month at night, 7pm to 5 am.
Responsibilities:
- Apply larvicides and adulticides to control mosquito populations.
- Maintain equipment and vehicles.
- Keep accurate records of work performed.
- Pull trailers and operate off road vehicles.
- Able to learn new skills in order to test and paint fire hydrants, inspect grease traps, etc.
No previous experience needed. All training is paid for by company. Company truck with fuel and insurance provided for this position.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
