Electricians support the operation of the refinery through properly maintaining refinery electrical systems. The schedule for this position is a 4-10 schedule Monday-Thursday, with weekend shifts and overtime when necessary.Key ResponsibilitiesAn Electrician will support the operation of the refinery through properly maintaining refinery electrical systems. This allows for safe, compliant, and reliable refinery operation to support the refinerys strategic business goals.Using various tools and equipment to effectively troubleshoot-repair-install-commission electrical systems.Performing work per applicable standards / specifications (Marathon, Industry, or Manufacturer)Executing preventative maintenance activities as part of our Mechanical Integrity ProgramAbility to use / understand electrical one-line drawings, electrical schematics, and operate electrical testing equipment.Having a full understanding to troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and replace components in both AC / DC electrical systems.Properly executing Lock out / Tag out procedures, work permitting, other standard industrial safety processesAdhering to and understanding of Marathons electrical safe work practicesRacking in and out electrical contractors and circuit breakers.Maintaining required safety and development training per site planUnderstanding when electrical PPE is necessary and donning when appropriate.Fostering a positive attitude, willingness to collaborate and team with others to accomplish work efficiently and to high quality standards.Required QualificationsMust have a High School Diploma or GED.Must have completed an Electrical Craft certified apprenticeship program OR two years of verifiable journeyman level work experience in the craft OR an Associate of Applied Science degree from an accredited technical college or university.```{=html}``` - Must have a current Journeyman or master electricians state issued license.Must be able to wear appropriate PPE in the refinery and be able to physically perform all tasks in the field.Must have a valid drivers license upon hire.Must be legally authorized to work in the US without the need for future VISA sponsorship.Preferred QualificationsExperience with SAP and Microsoft office preferred.```{=html}``` - Medium and / or high voltage experience preferred.A minimum of 3 years of electrical experience in a refining, petrochemical, or other related heavy industry.Pay and BenefitsStarting rate is $30.51 per hour with the potential of earning up to $49.22 and highly competitive benefits including Medical, Dental and Vision benefit options, Paid Parental Leave, Company Match on 401(k) Contributions, Cash Balance Pension Retirement Plan and much more!No phone calls or walk-ins.
