The Marine Division of Marathon Petroleum is seeking a skilled Deckhand to join its towboat crew. This vital member of the team will be responsible for ensuring the operational readiness of the boat and barges, while working in a physically demanding environment.

About the Job

As a Deckhand, you will play a critical role in maintaining the safety and efficiency of our towboat operations. You will be responsible for performing tasks such as wiring barges and attaching them to the boat securely, completing line handling and communication duties, and ensuring safe passage of the boat and barges.

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of the towboat and barges
• Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
• Assist with loading and unloading cargo
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge
