Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team at Marathon Petroleum. This role involves maintaining and repairing electrical systems on shore and in vessels, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Repair and maintain shore side and towboat equipment such as motors, electrical control panels, alarm systems, generators, transformers, heater controls, fiber optics, PLC automation systems, networking, radar systems, high-speed satellite communication systems, etc.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and repair electrical components.
- Participate in new project work and administrative activities.
- Respond to callouts and participate in safety and training activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Able to obtain a Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) card required.
- Up to 30% travel may be required.
- Must be able to pass a preemployment written test, hands on test, drug test, and background check.
- DOT physical required.
