Job Description:
Marathon Petroleum Company (MPC) is currently seeking an experienced Electrician to join its Marine Repair Facility (MRF) in Catlettsburg, KY. As a critical member of the MRF, this Electrician will contribute to our inclusive work environment by providing electrical expertise and maintaining applicable electrical codes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Repair and maintain shore side and towboat equipment, including motors, electrical control panels, alarm systems, generators, transformers, heater controls, fiber optics, PLC automation systems, networking, radar systems, high-speed satellite communication systems, etc.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and repair electrical components proficiently.
- Participate in new project work and administrative activities.
- Respond to callouts.
- Participate in safety and training activities.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to obtain a Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) card required.
- Up to 30% of travel may be required.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment written test, hands-on test, drug test, and background check.
- DOT physical required.
