Job Summary:
This Mechanic position requires experience with diesel engines, including overhaul experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work jobs from start to finish.
- Preventive maintenance and repair of shipboard systems, including diesel engines, marine reduction gears, pumps, HVAC and refrigeration systems, hydraulic steering systems, and mechanical air movers.
- Diesel engine experience includes Detroit Diesel, Cummins, Caterpillar, EMD, ALCO, and John Deere.
