Job Description:
As a Transport Driver at Marathon Petroleum, you will be responsible for safely delivering petroleum products across various routes. You will independently follow policies, procedures, and standards while adhering to a common vision of no accidents, injuries, or environmental harm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform pre-trip inspections to ensure equipment meets DOT regulations
- Drive a tank truck/trailer or tractor/trailer to transport product in a safe and efficient manner
- Obey all applicable federal, state, and local laws
- Complete post-trip inspections and regulatory paperwork
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Active Class A Commercial Driver's License
- Must maintain a satisfactory driving record
- Pass required drug and alcohol screening(s)
- DOT physical and current medical card
- Three-year DOT safety background check and seven-year criminal background check
