Immediate opening for a Health Program Specialist!
General Description
You will be responsible for promoting vaccine confidence among Nevadans by answering questions, dispelling misinformation, and providing accurate, up-to-date information. This position will also facilitate distribution of vaccine education material and information to clinicians and patients.
This position is a full-time contract position, located in Carson City and pays $30.85 / hour.
It is funded through June 30, 2025
Responsibilities and Standards
- Plan, schedule and deliver in-office provider education.
- Provide vaccine education materials to patients.
- Confidence in presenting vaccine education material and public speaking.
- Report outcomes to program manager and assist with reports to the CDC.
- Researching, collecting, and analyzing data and statistics
- Developing objectives, protocols, and procedures
- Providing health education services to target group or the general public
