We are looking for a Facilities and Security Manager to oversee the physical security and onsite facilities team within the Program Executive Office at the Defense Healthcare Management Systems Headquarters in Rosslyn, VA.

This person will be responsible for ensuring compliance with DOD and DHA regulations, including but not limited to Physical Security, Occupant Emergency, Active Shooter, Antiterrorism, etc.

This person should drive work independently, accurately prioritize responsibilities and develop informed recommendations. This role will work closely with the Chief, Operations and should provide regular and detailed status updates on all open items.

This is a fully on-site role (Monday to Friday, 8AM-4PM).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Security

  • Ensure measures for office safety (Develop and review various plans, training material, standard operating procedures, business workflow, etc.)
  • Partner with external agencies to schedule and deliver secialized trainings for DHMS personnel (antiterrorism assessments, occupational health and safety assessments, active shooter, occupant emergency, etc)
  • Monitor recurring security inspections of office spaces

Facilities

  • Ensure spaces are tidy and in good working order (cubicles, offices and conference rooms)
  • Monitor work orders submitted to building management (issues related to temperature, electric, plumbing, etc)
  • Ensure space is prepared for on-site meetings (guests, conference room setup, troubleshooting, etc)

Guest Management

  • Maintain process for monitoring on-site guests in all office spaces; including DHMS employees and their guests

Perform special projects and/or other duties as assigned or required.

BASIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5 years of facilities and security management experience; preferably in a government-managed space
  • Secret Clearance required
  • Current CAC through DOD preferred
  • U.S. citizenship required

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
