We are seeking a Full Scope Systems Administratior to play a crucial role in managing and maintaining an organization's computer systems and networks. This role will be supporting the customer on-site in the National Capital Region. This role will serve as a Systems Administrator and must have good interpersonal skills and ability to meet deadlines, brief customer and manage teams.
Responsibilities :
- Network and Server Management : Monitor, configure, and maintain the organization's network infrastructure, including servers, routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Software and Hardware Maintenance : Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot software applications, operating systems, and hardware components.
- Security Management : Implement and maintain security protocols, firewalls, antivirus solutions, and conduct regular security audits to protect against threats and vulnerabilities.
- User Support : Provide technical support to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues, and ensuring optimal system performance.
- Backup and Recovery : Set up and manage data backup and recovery processes to prevent data loss and ensure business continuity.
- Patch Management : Keep systems up-to-date with the latest patches and updates to mitigate security risks.
- Virtualization : Manage virtualized environments, such as VMware or Hyper-V, to optimize resource utilization.
- Monitoring and Troubleshooting : Continuously monitor system performance, identify and resolve issues, and ensure high availability.
- Documentation : Maintain comprehensive system documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and user guides.
- Capacity Planning : Evaluate system performance and plan for scalability to accommodate future growth.
Qualifications :
Security Clearance Statement : This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
