What are the responsibilities and job description for the Coater Operator - 3rd Shift position at Marathon?
Channeled Resource Group is seeking Coater Operators for the operation of a silicone coating machine, adhering to all manufacturing safety and quality standards, and ensuring all work instructions and standard operating procedures are followed.
A Coater Operator’s responsibilities include:
- Ensure machine operations meet or exceed all safety standards.
- Read and understand the production documentation for each job, and ensure adherence to all work instructions.
- Ensure all production meets or exceeds company quality standards.
- Ensure production and staging areas are kept clean and that appropriate materials are prepared for the start of the next shift.
- Complete all necessary production documentation and data entry in computer system.
- Operate forklift and/or hoist machine for the coating machine.
- Communicate the jobs running (or to be run) and discuss any issues with next operator upon shift change over.
- Inform supervisor (or production/plant manager) if there are any problems that need immediate attention.
- Ensure Coater helper performs all expected job duties.
- Train and coach Coater helper to learn machine operation.
- Perform other coating line duties as needed by supervisor or manager

- 3rd shift: 10:30pm - 6:30am/Sunday - Thursday
