Responsibilities
- Design and decorate cakes according to customer specifications and preferences.
- Utilize various cake decorating techniques, including piping, fondant application, and airbrushing.
- Ensure all cakes are produced in compliance with food safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the decorating area and equipment.
- Assist in the preparation of other baked goods as needed.
- Package finished products for delivery or display while ensuring presentation quality.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cake decorating or a related culinary field is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices within the food industry.
- Familiarity with food handling procedures to ensure product quality and safety.
- Strong artistic skills with an eye for detail in design and presentation.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
