Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while assisting them with their shopping needs. You will play a key role in driving sales and ensuring a positive shopping experience in our retail environment.
Selling of complete product line, using Company approved structured selling techniques, and giving 100% customer service satisfaction. Proper opening and closing cleaning procedures directed by management. Completion of all 3 CHIP manuals, Sales, Decorating and Baking.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
- Provide product demonstrations to educate customers on features and benefits.
- Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately, including cash and card payments.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and store policies to effectively assist customers.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Restock shelves and ensure products are organized and displayed attractively.
- Utilize retail math skills to manage inventory levels and assist with stock management.
- Uphold excellent phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries over the phone.
Experience
- Previous experience in a grocery store or retail environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers.
- Ability to demonstrate products confidently and provide knowledgeable assistance.
- Experience in collaboration sales techniques is a plus, fostering teamwork to meet sales objectives.
- Specific Functions:
- Be attentive and responsive to all customers.
- Upgrade sales and suggestively sell additional product(s) in accordance with the 7 Steps of Selling.
- Consistently sample and pass out Cookie Cake brochures throughout the entirety of all shifts.
- Suggestively sell Cookie Cakes to all customers along with passing out Cookie Cake brochures.
- Package products in accordance to proper procedures.
- Accurately ring up all sales, count back all change followed with the customer’s receipt on every transaction.
- Ensure the showcases are fully stocked with the required amounts and varieties of product.
- Keep sales display, counters, and cabinets clean inside and out.
- Keep front area clean and neat (walls, glass, floors, etc.).
- Keep supplies (bags, cups, lids, straws, etc.) in stock.
- Answer phone and can take Cookie Cake orders properly.
- Other duties delegated by management.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
