Job Overview :
Support in daily material handling activities using cranes and / or forklifts for loading customer orders and unloading containers, ensuring personal and material safety while maintaining an impeccable appearance.
As a regular, full-time employee of New Marble Unlimited Inc you will be expected to work during the hours of 09 : 00 to 17 : 00 Monday to Friday and one Saturday per month from 09 : 00 to 14 : 00.
RELEVANT FUNCTIONS :
- Assist with container unloading activities.
- Support loading and unloading activities for platforms.
- Load customer orders.
- Prepare orders in advance.
- Arrange materials according to the layout.
- Relocate materials, ensuring they are properly updated in the Eagil system.
- Perform cleaning tasks, such as removing wood, rubber, and debris in the warehouse.
- Maintain a clean and well-presented work area.
- Prepare plates in packages according to the heights specified in the transfer request provided by the warehouse coordinator for shipment to branch offices.
- Place bands on packages for loading onto platforms according to height and weight requirements for crane operations.
- Receive orders, locate and inspect them, and group them in an area to ensure quick and efficient loading upon the customer’s arrival.
- Move plates to load customer orders, either in packages or individually, quickly and efficiently while inspecting material conditions.
- Report any damage to plates, such as breaks, scratches, or quality issues, to the crane operator and / or warehouse coordinator.
- Relocate materials when making physical location changes in the Eagil system.
- Assist sales advisors in showcasing materials to customers.
- Comply with all warehouse safety regulations.
- Wear personal protective equipment during the workday.
- Follow safety instructions for each operation.
- Complete daily and weekly forklift checklists.
