Job Summary: Lucretia and Joseph Brown Elementary School is seeking a dynamic and energetic Long-Term Substitute Physical Education Teacher for students in Kindergarten through 3rd grade. The ideal candidate will foster a positive, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment that promotes students physical fitness, motor skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship. This role includes implementing lesson plans, managing student behavior, and ensuring a safe and fun environment for all students.Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging, age-appropriate physical education lessons for students in grades K-3.Implement the existing curriculum and lesson plans or develop appropriate activities as needed.Encourage students to develop motor skills, coordination, and a love for physical activity.Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive social interactions among students.Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback as necessary.Supervise students during activities and enforce safety guidelines.Collaborate with other teachers, staff, and administration to support student development.Maintain accurate attendance records and other required documentation.Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and school staff as needed.
