Marbles’ serves a diverse population of families, school groups, and community organizations through award-winning play-based exhibits, summer camps, IMAX documentaries, feature movies, and special events year-round. Today Marbles ranks among the top family destinations in North Carolina providing learning experiences for children with creative programs, and larger-than-life movies.

Job Responsibilities
- Complete opening and closing duties
- Provide an exceptional guest experience that is aligned with Marbles customer service procedures
- Effectively communicate scheduling, equipment, inventory, and other operational issues with your manager
- Prepare and serve beverages and concession offerings
- Describe concessions, movies, and operational procedure details to customers
- Receive and process customer payments
- Cleans and sanitizes all equipment, utensils, and work areas
- Cleans and sanitizes lobby, service stations, and seating areas
- Ensures customer self-service stations are properly stocked. Stock supplies or retail products; may inventory, order, or receive products as directed
- Ensure proper functioning of all food equipment by routinely checking temperatures in that equipment
- Perform all other duties assigned by the manager
- One year of customer service experience, particularly with families and young children (preferred)
- Theater and Retail experience is a plus
- Experience with point-of-sale and inventory software (Shopify and Tessitura experience preferred)
- Ability to maintain a helpful, friendly, and playful demeanor in a busy environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to establish goals, set priorities, and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Walking, standing, stooping, bending, and reaching
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Occasionally using a ladder, and going up and down stairs
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Wednesday-Friday availability from 9AM-3PM is preferred.
