What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Real Estate Paralegal position at Marbri Legal?
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal for a distinguished law firm in Palm Beach Garden, Florida. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial real estate transactions, title and survey review, and document preparation.
This is an IN OFFICE position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and leasing.
- Conduct title and survey review, identify issues, and coordinate resolutions.
- Draft, review, and manage real estate documents such as purchase agreements, closing documents, leases, and loan agreements.
- Perform due diligence, including reviewing contracts, zoning reports, and environmental assessments.
- Coordinate closings, prepare closing checklists, and ensure all closing conditions are met.
- Liaise with title companies, lenders, government agencies, and clients to facilitate transactions.
- Maintain organized transaction files and track critical deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field; Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field preferred.
- Paralegal certificate preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience at a mid to large size law firm.
- Proficient in such programs ClosingVU and/or Qualia closing, ATIDS, NetDocuments, iTimekeep, LexisNexis, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
