Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced distribution center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of the warehouse, ensuring accurate inventory control, and maintaining efficient shipping and receiving operations. This role is critical in supporting our e-commerce initiatives and requires proficiency with various warehouse management systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform activities related to receiving materials: Unpack product; review bills of lading and packing slips for identification and quantity; maintain records of goods received, rejects damaged, excess or misdirected goods; route material to inspection or other destination.
- Must be able to operate a forklift.
- Will be required to move product from first floor to second floor regularly including in inclement weather.
- Perform routine tasks on department equipment such as computer, printer, labeler, scanner, adding machine, postal meter, weigh scales and copy machine.
- Communicate with customers and sales associates.
- Load outgoing freight and unload incoming freight.
- Accurately record incoming shipments and fill out the proper paperwork for outbound shipments. Part number on cartons outside must coincide with paperwork and parts on the inside.
- Pull and set-up component parts or materials for jobs and keep supplied daily.
- Responsible for accurate inventories of Marca and customer parts and material.
- Coordinate the flow of material to the proper storage location.
- Ability to follow work instructions for orders.
- Recognize and understand part numbers per customer order and description of items.
- Stack parts on skids without damaging or affecting quality.
- Work independently without constant supervision.
- Assist in overall housekeeping of Shipping and Receiving Department.
- Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
Minimum Qualifications/Experience/Qualifications
- computer skills.
- written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able and willing to work flexible hours including overtime.
- Ability to perform basic math skills, e.g., adding, subtracting, dividing, multiplying.
- Ability to perform essential duties efficiently and accurately within 6 months.
Environmental/Working Conditions
- Factory environment.
- Will occasionally; be exposed to moderate noise, oil, dusty, hot, cold, and wet conditions.
- There is limited exposure to seasonal weather changes/elements.
- Minimal exposure to moving mechanical parts.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
