Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Finisher to join our team. As a Finisher, you will be responsible for completing various construction projects by applying finishes to surfaces and ensuring high-quality craftsmanship. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Duties:
- Apply finishes, such as plaster or paint, to surfaces according to project specifications
- Prepare surfaces for finishing by cleaning, sanding, and priming
- Repair and patch damaged surfaces as needed
- Install and repair metal stud framing
- Perform carpentry tasks, such as framing and trim work
- Assist with metal building erection and installation
- Collaborate with construction management to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience:
- Proven experience in finish carpentry, metal stud framing, and plastering
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, tools, and techniques
following project specifications
- Ability to operate power tools and other equipment safely
- Welding experience is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship skills
