Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
- Manage the seating chart and coordinate reservations to optimize table turnover.
- Assist guests with inquiries about the menu, specials, and restaurant policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service.
- Handle phone calls professionally, assisting with reservations and guest inquiries.
- Provide support during busy periods to enhance guest relations and satisfaction.
- Uphold high standards of guest services in accordance with restaurant policies.
Experience
- Previous experience in guest services or food service is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations and hospitality principles is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette and customer interaction.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure.
