Marcereau Law Group is a looking for a talented attorney to join the team! We represent plaintiffs in high profile, serious injury cases. We represent children, the elderly or other vulnerable members of society who have suffered due to others' wrongdoing. Our cases are often in the news and, from a professional standpoint, have really interesting facts and legal issues. Every case is a unique story and you will never be bored. One of our recent verdicts was featured in a Netflix documentary and is now being made into a major motion picture!

Who We Are Looking For.

We are looking for an attorney with at least 4 years of litigation experience. Currently work for a defense firm? Perfect!! We will help you transition from the dark side and work for the good guys (haha). Best of all? No billable hours and no time sheets. Ever.

The key thing we need is someone who can run with cases and be a self-starter. Must be proficient with written discovery, depos, and law and motion. You will receive guidance and have collaboration with the partners as needed, but you will be trusted to manage your own cases. Trial experience preferred but not a deal breaker - we are willing to mentor the right candidate!

Role Description.

This is a full-time position. No nights or weekends required unless we are in trial. The number of trials we have varies, but is typically only around one or two a year. You are welcome to work at our office or from home. Your career is important but should not be at the expense of your family or your life. We get it.

Qualifications.

• You must be currently employed as a civil litigator.
• You must have at least 4 years’ experience, and have personal injury experience (defense side is fine!).
• You must be a member of the CA State Bar in good standing.
• You must be an aggressive (but professional) litigator who enjoys the competitive nature of our profession.
• You must be willing/able to produce quality work. We are not a sweat shop that values mind numbing billable hours, but we expect excellent work product. We are a high end, boutique firm and are proud of our reputation as such. Any attorney working with us needs to uphold that standard.
