We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join us in a fun, family-run restaurant at the Ouray KOA Campground. As a key member of our service team, you will play a vital role in creating an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Ideal candidates will possess experience in the food industry and have a keen understanding of food safety and customer service.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued from the moment they arrive.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
- Assist in catering and food truck events.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns or requests promptly.
- Handle cash transactions and perform basic math calculations for billing purposes.
- Support barista duties as needed, including brewing coffee, tea, espresso, and other beverages and serving bakery items.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
- Basic math skills are required for handling transactions accurately.
- Experience using POS systems is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- A passion for providing excellent customer service and creating memorable experiences for guests is crucial.
