Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Members to join us in a fun, family-run restaurant at the Ouray KOA Campground. In this role, you will be an integral part of our kitchen operations, assisting in meal preparation and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a desire to contribute to a positive dining experience for our guests.
Duties
- Assist in the preparation of meals according to established recipes and guidelines.
- Ensure all food items are prepared in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper storage of ingredients.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including knives and other culinary tools.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and quality of food presentation.
- Help with catering and food truck events as needed, providing support in food preparation and service.
- Wash dishes and run food when needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and basic cooking skills is advantageous.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is a plus.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks within the kitchen setting.
