Position Title: Financial Regulatory Reporting Analyst
Location: Hybrid, 3 days in Boston (Tues – Thurs)
Duration: 6 month contract with possible extensions
BASIC PURPOSE:
Under general supervision of the Manager of the Investment Analytic Support Group, the Financial Regulatory Reporting Contractor ensures the integrity of all of the data associated with organization trade and position reporting to European and Australian Securities and Exchange regulatory authorities.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the timely submission of daily securities trade and position files to various international regulatory authorities.
- Works with other groups across the organization to implement regulatory reporting enhancements to ensure that the organization continues to meet it reporting requirements.
- Works with brokers and reporting application vendors to ensure trade matching and proper transaction reporting principles.
- Identifies and implements improvements to existing processes.
- Works with various groups within the Global Investment Support Group to troubleshoot any potential problems as they may arise.
- Assumes additional responsibilities as required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance or math-related field.
- 2 to 3 years of industry experience a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of regulatory reporting recommended.
- Knowledge of securities trade flow recommended.
- Knowledge of various financial security types, including derivatives recommended.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Excel.
- Strong problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well within a team environment as well as exercising independent judgment from time to time.
