Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Front Load Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating front loader trucks to transport waste materials efficiently and safely. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as part of daily operations.
Duties
- Operate front loader trucks to collect and transport waste materials from designated locations.
- Perform routine inspections of the vehicle before and after each shift to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment, ensuring proper handling techniques are followed.
- Maintain accurate records of routes, collections, and any incidents that occur during operations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding schedules and any issues encountered during routes.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving in various conditions.
- Assist in training new drivers on safe operating procedures and equipment handling as needed.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with front loader trucks or similar heavy-duty vehicles.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks consistently throughout the shift.
- Familiarity with roll-off trucks, rear loader trucks, dump trucks, and manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
- Strong driving skills with a clean driving record; experience as a delivery driver is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols in all aspects of the job.
