Job Overview
Marco Board House is seeking a skilled Solderer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in soldering and assembly processes. This role is critical in ensuring the quality and functionality of our electronic components. The Solderer will work closely with various tools and equipment to assemble and test electronic devices, contributing to the overall success of our production line.
Responsibilities
- Perform soldering tasks on electronic components, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
- ·Knowledge of IPC 610 and J-Standards and the classes (desired)
- Currently Certified in IPC or have been Certified in the past three years (desired)
- Be able to hand solder components
- Ability read and understand all documents, drawings, Bill of Materials & Work Instructions
· 1 year of experience in electronics manufacturing.
· Ability to Read and understand All Instructions to Assemble
· Be able to use hand tools and solder stations, keeping area clean and up to safety standards
· Must have the ability to assemble products or sub-assemblies according to verbal or written instructions, or by following drawings or diagrams.
· Must have microscope soldering and component rework skills and exposure to most repair/rework processes.
· Qualified candidate must have experience in working in a fast pace, turn around dept.
· Capable of walking 200 feet several times a day to wash circuit cards
· Lift 15 lbs. or more several times a day
· Other Tasks as assigned by Management team
Experience
- Proven experience in soldering, preferably in an electronics manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret schematics.
- Familiarity with surface mount technology (SMT) is a plus.
- Experience with electrical wiring, machining, and logic controllers is desirable.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
