Duties

• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently at the cash register.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting them with inquiries.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring accurate cash handling practices.
• Stock shelves and maintain product displays to ensure a well-organized shopping experience.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding promotions, sales, and store policies.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the checkout area.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
• Good phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
