As a Pizza Maker, you will be the heart of our kitchen, responsible for crafting delicious pizzas and ensuring a consistent and high-quality dining experience for our customers. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to Marco’s Pizza recipes and customer preferences.
- Stretch and shape pizza dough, ensuring consistency in size and quality.
- Assemble pizzas by adding toppings, sauces, and cheese to meet company standards.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, pizza cutters, and other cooking tools safely and efficiently.
- Ensure that all pizzas are baked to perfection and served hot and fresh.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations, utensils, and cooking equipment.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- Help with food prep, such as chopping vegetables and preparing ingredients as needed.
- Assist in the restocking of ingredients and supplies.
- Work with team members to ensure orders are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensure that all orders are accurately prepared according to customer specifications.
- Provide excellent customer service if interacting with customers in the kitchen.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a pizza maker or in a kitchen setting is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders at once.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow recipes and food preparation techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with others in a team-oriented environment.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25-30 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with pizza ovens or commercial kitchen equipment.
