We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pizza Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry and a love for creating delicious pizzas. As a Pizza Cook, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality meals to our customers while ensuring food safety and cleanliness standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to established recipes and standards.
• Operate kitchen equipment including ovens, mixers, and cutting tools safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring all food safety protocols are followed.
• Assist in the development of new pizza recipes and menu items.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons when necessary and ensuring their satisfaction with their meals.

Skills

• Experience in the food industry, particularly in a restaurant or grocery store setting.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
• Culinary skills with an emphasis on pizza preparation and cooking methods.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash registers for order processing.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and patrons.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $9.00 - $11.00 per hour
