The Business Development Representative will be responsible for directly and purposefully growing their assigned accounts. The position requires outbound communications to customers on new products, pricing, promotions, training, product line changes, and current topics that will drive sales and margin growth. Additionally, this position serves as the ambassador of the company core values of providing superior service, customer support, and developing lasting business relationships.

What will you be doing?
- Provides excellent customer service through consistent and timely customer interaction, problem resolution or escalation with effective and efficient follow-up.
- Properly communicates customer issues with appropriate company personnel and vendors.
- Supports valued business relationships in all dealings with related departments aiming to resolve customer and other issues in a timely manner. Approaches peers and customers with a spirit of positive problem resolution
- Achieves performance to Overall Sales and equipment sales budget – Revenue.
- Responsible for contacting all assigned customers monthly notifying them of essential information pertaining to products, promotions, changes in the company, training, and sales performance.
- Maintains a system for organizing and delivering all product related to promotional items and information and pricing information provided at sales meetings to all assigned accounts.
- Demonstrates knowledge of company product lines with proficiency and detail.
- Demonstrates proficiency and knowledge in all marketing programs, promotions, and support available from all vendors.
Preferred Job Requirements
- High School diploma or its GED equivalent and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field.
- 5 or more years’ experience with HVAC, sales, and related functions.
Minimum Job Requirements
- High School diploma or its GED equivalent and some college coursework in Business or related field.
- 3 or more years’ experience with HVAC, sales, and related functions.
- Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Aptitude for mathematical operations and numerical analysis.
