The Parts Specialist will be responsible for directly and purposefully communicating to their assigned accounts. These communications would include, but are not limited to, new products, new pricing, promotions, product line changes, upcoming training, and current topics regarding parts and supplies. This position will also look for opportunities within their region to support the Territory Manager resulting in growth for parts and supplies.
What will you be doing as a Parts Specialist? We will need you to:
- Provide excellent customer service through consistent and timely customer interaction, problem resolution or escalation with effective and efficient follow-up.
- Effectively communicate with Territory Managers through direct purposeful sales calls, phone calls, texts, fax, email, mail, and other means as required.
- Conduct personal interactions with customers representative of a company with strong, ethical standards.
- Properly communicate customer issues with appropriate company personnel and vendors.
- Support valued business relationships in all dealings with related departments aiming to resolve customer and other issues in a timely manner.
- Responsible for contacting all assigned customers monthly notifying them of essential information pertaining to products, promotions, changes in the company, training, and sales performance.
- Responsible for sales penetration and customer relationship maintenance.
- Assist in meeting vendor goals and plans.
- Support SSBs set up, cycle counting, and customer inquires stemming from interactions with the website.
- Process orders and quotes through company ERP system as needed.
- Maintain a system for organizing and delivering all products related to promotional items and information and pricing information provided at sales meetings to all assigned accounts.
- Review and maintain inventory necessary to support increase product mix by working with Purchasing and the Product Management team.
- Present marketing programs to customers that includes promotions, flyers, specials, training, and other programs as directed.
- Demonstrate proficiency and knowledge in all marketing programs, promotions, and support available from all vendors.
- Completes pricing studies as required.
- Communicate dealer pricing and price sheets to customers as required.
- Demonstrate knowledge of company product lines with proficiency and detail.
- Maintain a personal library of sales and technical materials for all product lines.
- Travel as needed.
- Attend training sessions as required.

About You:
- High School diploma or its GED equivalent and some college coursework in Business or related field.
- 3 or more years’ experience with HVAC, sales, and related functions.
- Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Aptitude for mathematical operations and numerical analysis.
- Use computers, photocopiers, scanners, phone systems and meeting and virtual platform sharing relative to the needs of the job.
