We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pizza Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food service industry, particularly in pizza preparation and cooking. This role requires creativity in menu planning and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The Pizza Cook will be responsible for crafting delicious pizzas that meet our high standards of quality and presentation.

Duties

• Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
• Manage pizza dough preparation, including stretching and shaping.
• Utilize various kitchen equipment, such as ovens, knives, and mixers, safely and effectively.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Assist in menu planning by suggesting new pizza recipes or variations.
• Participate in catering events as needed, providing exceptional food service.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or culinary roles is preferred.
• Knowledge of fine dining standards is a plus.
• Proficiency with kitchen tools, especially knives, for food preparation.
• Familiarity with menu planning and catering services is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality food production.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen environment.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork mentality.

Pay: $10.00 - $14.08 per hour
