CBIZ is seeking a Temporary Receptionist that is organized and personable to support our Melville office to cover a medical leave. As a Receptionist, you will be responsible for managing the front desk, assisting with general office maintenance, and providing support in various administrative tasks.
Temp: 3-4 weeks.
M-F, 8:30-5:30, with flexibility.

The hourly salary target for this job in this market is $24hr-$26hr. Responsibilities
- Cover the front desk when needed, answering phones and greeting incoming clients/associates.
- Provide support in other areas from 8:30 PM to 5:30 PM, with flexibility to come in early or depart late on some days.
- Assist with organizing and distributing incoming and outgoing mail.
- Monitor reception outlook inbox and handle or forward incoming email correspondence.
- Compile and forward incoming faxes.
- Assist with event setup and cleanup of all conference rooms.
- Restock and clean the kitchen.
- Provide inventory management and assist with ordering supplies.
- Perform scanning tasks.
- Receive and deliver incoming UPS/FedEx/Amazon packages.
- Ability to lift 10lb-20lb items or boxes.
- High school diploma.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and follow-through.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Strong ability to multitask.
